Benazir Bhutto

I have always been a fan of Benazir Bhutto, a secular woman in power in an Islamic country. She seemed a very strong person viewed from the middle of the North American continent. When she was first deposed and exiled I painted a small portrait of her. 12"x8"

John, Small Lino print

On this series I started using some of the techniques for ink application used by the Germen Expressionists such as applying the ink with a brushto flat areas to at texture as can be seen here in the face. Lino print "Lance"

I took a powder for a couple months but managed to make some small art card prints for Christmas. Here is one. The scanner did not pick up the light yellow in the rectangle behind the head. The ink was very light with a lot of translucent medium in it.
