Color pencil drawing of a Maple Leaf
As I wandered around this fall I started paying close attention to the leaves falling from the trees. Like a snowflake they are all different in the way the color changes. "Maple Leaf #1", colored pencil, 11"x8", 2008-11-03

Miniprint, Siamese Cat
What is a Miniprint? It is any print smaller than an ATC (art trading card) or ACEO (art card, editions, and orignals).
The series I am working on is specific to the width of a standard 1x2 peice of lumber, which is 1 1/2" wide. I have lots of scrap wood this size and I cut a bunch into lengths 2 1/2" long which gives the print size of 1-1/2"x 2-1/2". I chose this size so it could fit into a standard cigarette box sized container and be put into an Art Vending Machine (covnerted cig machine). The print comes in it's own custom designed box.

Who Me?
I needed several more little drawings of dogs to make a mini-book so I spent the weekend drawing a bunch. All are done to postcard size mostly in colored pencil or pastel pencil.

Political prints
While not partisan these are political in a sense. The idea is all voters should be informed on the candidates and issues.
Again theme and variation is the rule and all were run in small editions. The yellow in #3 is brighter because I force dried the other editions in the oven at 195 degree. Speedball ink in the reds and yellows color shifts/darkens when heat is applied.

e=mc2
This little print was fun to make. First I carved the mirror image formula and the radiation warning symbol. Then I print the formula in black and forced dryed it with my heat gun. Then I printed the red radiation symbol and also force dryed that. Then final step was to over print in green with the formula block but apply no pressure so the inking was very uneven.
